Bergkamp calls on Wenger to make changes Bergkamp calls on Wenger to make changes

Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has urged Arsene Wenger to reach for a Plan B, with the Dutch great suggesting his former side are now too predictable.

Arsenal's trophy-less run stretches back to 2005, the season before Bergkamp retired, and the Dutchman feels the Gunners are unlikely to snap that streak in the near future.

Bergkamp believes Wenger's winning mentality will get things right, but he has called on his former boss to find leaders on and off the pitch and work on making the team less predictable.

"Sometimes I see their games and it's always the same way of playing, a bit too predictable. They are all fantastic players, that must be said, but sometimes you need a bit more of the other side." Bergkamp, who is currently making his way in the game as a coach with Ajax, clearly views Wenger as one of the greats and he expects him to bring trophies to the Emirates before walking away.

"He's a winner," Bergkamp said. "He can't just let go. He would think he hasn't finished there yet. He would want to finish on a high or at least do something that makes the team successful again.

"So I think he will wait and push as hard as possible to achieve that before he leaves."
